Stella Mae Oatmeal Stout Cookies
Ingredients

Methods/steps Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Reduce Stout down to about ½ cup. Combine shortening, sugars, eggs, beer and vanilla.
Sift together flour, salt and baking soda; add dry ingredients to shortening mixture. Mix well. Blend in oatmeal a little at a time. Carefully fold in raisins and chocolate chips to suit. Drop cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. And bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Submitted by: Tim Fullam |
