You're in luck if you live in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, California, Nevada, Arizona or Colorado because Alaskan beer is both available and popular. For those outside our distribution area, who yearn for a "taste of Alaska," check out Liquid Solutions online at www.liquidsolutions.biz.
That's right, after so many calls from our fans in Colorado, Alaskan Amber is now available on tap and in 22 oz. bottles at select locations along Colorado's Front Range! Alaskan Summer Ale and Alaskan Pale will arrive on tap and on shelves in Colorado later this season.
Styles: Amber - Alaskan Brewing Company's flagship beer is based on a turn of the century recipe that used to quench the thirst of miners during the Gold Rush. Smooth, richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal or share it with friends! Pale - Fresh, crisp and inviting - Alaskan Pale is a favorite with crab, prawns and salads. The floral aroma of hops is derived from dry-hopping the tanks during the fermentation process. Stout - An Oatmeal Stout style beer without the harshness of many stouts. Wonderful with chocolate, desserts, hearty meals or just to enjoy fireside after a traipsing through the snow.
ESB - Like hops? An infusion of Centennial hops delight the nose and the refreshing Cascade hops contribute a pleasing crispness to the flavor and finish. Great with spicy food, robust stew, wild game and other winter fare. Smoked Porter - As elusive as it is exclusive, Alaskan Smoked Porter has a world-class reputation for excellence. Brewed seasonally in the fall, this beer is ideal for cellaring for later enjoyment or sharing with good friends around the hearth. Winter Ale - The tender new growth of spruce trees has been used for brewing in Alaska since the late 1700's when seafaring explorers sailed the coast of Alaska looking for the Northwest Passage. Alaskan Brewing revives this tradition, adding spruce tips to its seasonal Alaskan Winter Ale.
Alaskan IPA - Alaskan IPA is honey gold in color with a fruity, citrus aroma. An enticing blend of hops and our dry hopping process, in which hops are added directly to tanks during fermentation, give this brew a very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing hop finish. Summer Ale - Alaskan Summer Ale is a great way to celebrate warmer weather and more daylight. Well balanced in the style of a traditional Kölsch beer, the clean freshness welcomes pairings with crab, halibut, salads or just warm weather. Enjoy! Rough Drafts - Innovation has long been a hallmark of life in Alaska. That characteristic applies to Alaskan Brewing Company as well. The Juneau-based brewery enjoys brewing beers of various styles just for fun and some with historical significance. |
