Parasailed on mountain air currents with bald eagles? Brewed an internationally award-winning beer? Our crew has and much more! At Alaskan Brewing Company, we're excited about the beer we brew and the people who brew it. Our crew is passionate and not only about beer. We're livin' life Alaskan! We employ people who have a flair for life. We have interests that are wide-ranging, from making driftwood furniture to wakeboarding in the winter. Find out about our uniqueness, our passion for life and our interests. Take a closer look We have a diverse crew, with many interests and talents. Before joining Alaskan Brewing, crew members have held a number of unusual job titles including tugboat deckhand, cheesemaker, land surveyor, commercial fisherman, horse logger and Alyeska Pipeline worker at Pump Station One. Our crew members make rock sculptures, wakeboard in the winter, run the 100-mile Klondike road relay race, make salmon caviar (ikura), paraglide, river raft, photograph wildlife, and scuba dive for king crab. And that is just the beginning! Our Brew Crew has lived all over the world, from Santiago, Chile, and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, to Berlin and Sydney. Our crew loves to travel. However, they always find their way home to Juneau, Alaska. Our crew loves to brew--even at home! Homebrewers, who make up the majority of our crew, experiment with indigenous plants and berries found here. One crew member has made a beer hopped with Devil's Club and another a mead infused with wild Alaska highbush cranberries. Through the Years Photo Gallery Our Brew Crew has grown through the years.
