paletable
Golden Ale. A blonde, lighter bodied beer with a floral aroma and a crisp, hoppy finish that's not bitter. The hop character of Alaskan Pale is due to dry hopping by hand during the fermentation process.

pale_flavor
A clean, softly malted body with a hint of citrus overtones, followed by a hop-accented dry, crisp finish.

pale_history
Alaskan Pale became the Brewery's second year-round product in 1988.

pale_ingrediients
Alaskan Pale is made from glacier-fed water and a generous blend or European and Pacific Northwest hop varieties and premium two-row pale and specialty malts. Our water originates in the 1,500 square-mile Juneau Ice Field and the more than 90 inches of rainfall we receive each year.

pale_recommendations
Complements light flavors such as prawns, crab and halibut. Also a good accompaniment to spicy ethnic food. This is a particularly thirst quenching beer on a hot day.

pale_story
There are as many as 100,000 glaciers scattered across Alaska. These rivers of ice carve the landscape creating a backdrop like nowhere else. Mendenhall Glacier, located just minutes from downtown Juneau, provides the stunning scenes of Alaska's dramatic coastline and the chance to see an array of Alaska wildlife from the quiet solitude of a sea kayak. It offers a memory best savored with a refreshingly pristine Alaskan Pale.

Brewtoids
In Babylonia 4,000 years ago, a bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all the mead he could drink for a month after the wedding. Mead is a honey beer, and because their calendar was lunar based, this period was called the honey month, which eventually came to be known as the honeymoon.
