First Friday at Alaskan Brewing Depot in Juneau from 4:30-7 p.m.

We’ll have Boundary Range beers for sampling, including Icy Bay IPA, Freeride Pale, Big Mountain Pale and Hopothermia Imperial IPA, plus snacks from Panhandle Provisions.

Comedy for a Cause at the JACC in Juneau at 6 p.m.

NAMI-Juneau will hold its third annual Comedy for a Cause benefit, presenting local humor and storytelling from Geoff Kirsch, Pat McClear, Libby Bakalar, Curtis Blankenship, Paula Rohrbacher and Pete Griffin, with MC Tom Cosgrove. NAMI-Juneau is Alaskan Brewing’s nonprofit partner for 2016. Find a selection of goodies from Alaskan in the silent auction or enjoy an Alaskan Beer at the no-host bar. Mocha Milk Stout Sampling at Eagle River Ale House from 7-9 p.m.

Come on in and join the party, the Brew Crew and the Peanut Farm will be sampling the brand new beer from Alaskan Brewing, the Skiff Kicker Session IPA. Great beer, great food, and great times. Trivia Untamed “Bird Brained” at the Alaska Zoo from 7-10 p.m.

Calling all beer and bird lovers! Another round of the renowned Trivia Untamed at the Alaskan Zoo is upon us. The theme of the night will be all things birds and all things Alaskan Brewing! Come check out the great, new beer from Alaskan Brewing and see if you and your team can walk out with the 1st place prize of $500. This is a great fundraiser and we expect to sell out again. The Brew Crew are at it again out in Palmer. Come try our new Rough Draft offering, the Honey Hemp Ale. This English Mild Ale, is the perfect segway into another beautiful spring in Alaska. Come talk beer styles and all things Alaskan, we will be there just in time for your hump day happy hour.

Eagle River Ale House and Alaskan brewing are pleased to invite you to try out next exciting beer in our Rough Draft Series. The Honey Hemp Ale, is our take on an English Mild ale, our brewers added hemp seeds to bring out a toasted, baked nuttiness that is perfectly complimented by a slightly sweet buzz of honey. With 420 pounds of Maris Otter malt per 10-barrel batch and liberal use of Golding hops, the UK roots of this beer are unmistakable.

Alaskan Brewing will be there all afternoon showcasing the new additions to the already award-winning lineup. If you love beer, food and distractions on your layovers, this is the place to be!

Wetlands Clean-up with Southeast Alaska Land Trust and Coastal CODE after party at Sunny Point/Alaskan Brewing at 8 a.m./noon

We founded Coastal CODE in 2007, funded by 1% of Icy Bay IPA sales, and since then have donated more than $200,000 and helped to clean up more than a million pounds of trash and marine debris. We grant funds to coastal cleanups and participate in cleanups like this one with Southeast Alaska Land Trust, starting at Sunny Point on April 23. After the cleanup, participants should join us for an after party at Alaskan Brewing with beer, food and fun!

The Alaska State Improv Festival is a four-day event dedicated to the art of unscripted theater. AS IF! will feature performances by improv ensembles from Alaska and Outside, and will include workshop opportunities from regionally- and nationally-recognized instructors. Washington Coast Cleanup with Washington CoastSavers at 8 a.m.

This year we’ve partnered with Washington CoastSavers to help fund the organization’s annual Washington Coast Cleanup. We’ll also be helping with the cleanup at Kalaloch Lodge, where there will be a volunteer barbecue after the hard work is done. Alaskan Brewing Co. has committed 1% of all proceeds from Alaskan Icy Bay IPA to support the cleanup of waterways and coastlines in an initiative called the Coastal CODE (Clean Oceans Depend on Everyone). The Coastal CODE provides grants to organizations and activities that promote the health of the ocean and the waterways that lead to it. Since its inception in 2007, we’ve donated more than $200,000 and helped to clean up more than a million pounds of trash and marine debris.

What could be more fun than a beer festival in the heart of Los Angeles? The festival will benefit Noah’s Bark Animal Shelter and the Brew Crew will be pouring Alaskan Amber, Kicker Session IPA and Jalapeño Imperial IPA.
