Alaskan Brewing and Locals Pub and Pizzeria are pleased to announce the launch party for the new Kicker Session IPA. Raspberry Wheat Sampling at Fort Richardson Mini Mall from 5-7 p.m.

It’s back! The highly anticipated release of our renowned Raspberry Wheat. What a perfect way to kick off summer in Alaska, then with this liquid candy. The brew crew will be sampling off the growler bar, just as you’re getting off of work. If you’re on JBER and love beer, be sure to stop in and see us.

Kick the Kicker Promotion at McGinley’s in Anchorage from 8-10 p.m.

Come on down to the home of the four leaf clover and help us kick off our brand new, year round offering, the Kicker Session IPA. Guess the minute we “kick” the first keg and win some prizes. What more can you ask for? Prizes? Great beer? Test you luck and come kick the Kicker with us. Festivities start at 6pm.

SMaSH #431 Sampling at Eagle River Ale House from 5-7 p.m.

Like IPA’s? How about naming things? Come try out our latest offering from our Rough Draft Line. We built this phenomenal Imperial IPA with the yet to be named experimental hop, HBC #431. This hop is so new to the game that it doesn’t have a name yet. Come on down and try some, the Brew Crew will be there at 5 pm sampling this awesome beer, and if you have a name, we will pass it on to the hop naming committee. Cheers!

Grape vs. Grain Dinner at Pub House in Anchorage from 6-10 p.m.

Thank you for bearing with us after postponing this much anticipated event. We are back on and better than ever. (We had to give those wine guys a little extra time to prepare!) Come check out this limited ticket affair, where you get to be the judge. Five courses, 10 pairings and only one winner. We are pitted against Robert Mondavi Wineries and with Chef Daniel cooking. This event will surely not disappoint.

Brewin’ for Bruins Fundraiser at the Alaska Zoo from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Beer with bears? Not bears with beer (that would be an entirely different event). We are teaming up with the Alaska zoo to sample some beer while raising money for these majestic animals. The Midnight Sun American Association of Zoo Keepers annual fundraiser boasts three hours of tasting local brew, eating and watching brown, black and polar bears play. Also participate in a silent auction, all to help raise money to further our mission and conserve wildlife locally and throughout the world.

Alaska Crafted Festival at 7th and F Streets in Downtown Anchorage from 5-10 p.m.

Come down and enjoy a taste of Alaska. This event showcases all of the great work that Alaskans are doing in the craft beer and alcohol industry. We will be there all evening rocking out to some great local bands and pouring our amazing beer. I could not think of a better way to spend a Saturday night, in the greatest state in the world.

Migratory Birds Celebration at the Alaska Zoo from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Spread your wings for conservation and migrate to the Alaska Zoo to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Migratory birds treaty! Alaskan Brewing will be there holding down the beer garden, so stop by and enjoy this great centennial event with something for everyone.
