JUNEAU, AK (August 4th, 2022): In celebration and support of Alaska’s first Ironman triathlon, the Alaskan Brewing Company is proud to introduce the IRONMAN IPA. Available for a limited time only as part of the brewery’s Alaska-exclusive Rough Draft series, the IRONMAN IPA showcases the classic flavors of Cascade hops with tropical depth provided by experimental 586 hops. Grapefruit, pineapple, guava, pine and resin are all subtly present in this 6% ABV, 55 IBU brew.
Light in color, the IRONMAN IPA is balanced with a slight cracker maltiness that helps add dimension to the hop flavors. Typical IPA bitterness gives way to a mildly sweet finish, making it the perfect brew to watch the race or celebrate after.
