Tastings, beer and gear
Alaskan Brewing Co. has been located in the same building since we first opened our doors in 1986. Back then we only had 2,000 square feet of space and we shared the warehouse with other tenants, including an indoor driving range. (We never did get around to painting over that green wall.) Now we have 47,000 square feet of space, in which we conduct all of our brewing, bottling and business operations. We also have a gift shop and tasting bar for our many fans. Please stop by and join us for a beer and pick up some beer gear while you’re here.

Our tastings are free, but that doesn’t stop most of our guests from tipping our Brew Crew. We pass the generosity of our guests on to our community. Each year the Alaskan Brew Crew gives our collection of annual tips and proceeds from fundraisers, which has topped $20,000, to a local nonprofit organization. This year the Alaskan Brew Crew voted to provide tip donations to Gastineau Humane Society.
